Amphawa Thai Noodle House

They were able to make a vegetarian/vegan Khao Soi (upon request) with Tofu. It was fantastic and loaded with protein! It was really soothing on a cold day like today. Highly recommend.

Our favorite place for wings! We ordered their food a lot during pandemic. Their wings stay crispy even by the time it reaches home! The sauce for the angel wings is made from scratch so you can't get it anywhere else. Sukothai noodles, pad thai and pad see ew are delicious too. Roti is very crispy and layered. Thai iced tea is solid. Restaurant is clean and server is very kind.

We love this place. We come here once a month if not every other week. We normally get the crab fried rice, pineapple fried rice, crispy chicken, pad Thai, crispy tofu, skewers, ground beef with basil. We've also tried other stuff but too much to list. All my Thai friends have told me, this place is pretty authentic. We Love Chili as our sever.

My go to Thai restaurant! What stands out the most is the Naked Lady : there's really no where else that serves raw blue shrimp like they do. Every time we go, we order their main appetizers: fish cake skewers angel wings They never disappoint! Every entree is cooked to perfection as well! Since the restaurant is kind of small, there's not that many servers. Even though they're super busy, their service remains amazing.

COCKROACH ON THE FOOD !!! On 11/26/22, I took my date to Amphawa on her recommendation. We arrived at 6:30pm. The restaurant was full, and the servers were busy. First we ordered some appetizers--Chicken Satay, Por-Pier Sod, and some drinks. My date and I each ate a Chicken Satay skewer. As we were eating, I saw something move on one of the skewers still on the plate. It was a COCKROACH. I said to my date, Will you look at that. She saw it too. The COCKROACH crawled to the edge of the plate. I flicked it off the plate. Then I stood up and uttered a profanity. The young couple at the table next to us looked. The woman said, Oh my gawd, it 's a cockroach . Using my napkin, I killed the insect. My date stood up and called out to one of the servers, Excuse me, a COCKROACH was crawling on our plate . The server came over, and I explained that a COCKROACH was crawling on our FOOD, and I gave her the napkin explaining the dead COCKROACH was in the napkin. She apologized and took all of our food away. Another couple, seated two tables away learned what had just happened. Since they just arrived, they did not have a chance to receive their food yet. They just got up and left the restaurant. I was livid. I took my lady friend and we left too. On the way out, the server asked if we wanted to order the same appetizers again. I told her that we were leaving and that I was not paying for anything. She said, Okay , and then she went back to work. This is a true incident. I feel that writing about this incident is a public service. Also: I recommend that you read past reviews about this restaurant. There are other reviews that also complain about COCKROACHES at this restaurant. The infestation appears to be consistent.
