Bidra med feedbackThis place offers delightful macarons and intriguing Asian-inspired dessert flavors. The sea salt fudge brownie was absolutely perfect, and the ice cream and sorbets packed a surprisingly strong taste; I was hesitant to try the licorice ice cream. Everything is made fresh on-site. It’s definitely a must-visit dessert spot when you're near Pier 39.
The menu features gelato, mini cakes, macarons, and a variety of baked goods, all of which looked adorable and appetizing. The portions are on the smaller side, making it perfect for those who want just a small taste or wish to sample various flavors. Each of the samples was thoughtfully crafted with great attention to detail, and the presentation was impressive. We opted for a couple of mini cakes, which were moist, dense, and rich, beautifully topped with a smooth, velvety cream—truly delicious! We also tried the Mocha Chip and Goat Cheese Apricot gelato, both of which were exceptional. The mocha offered a strong, robust flavor, while the goat cheese apricot was a delightful surprise; it was creamy, flavorful, and balanced, with a nice hint of fresh apricot pieces without feeling too heavy. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon delights, and the staff member who assisted us was friendly and accommodating. All the pandan, none of the pretentiousness. I began visiting eight years ago, and I'm so pleased to see that it's still here. The gelato and sorbet flavors inspired by Southeast and East Asian cuisines are made with care by a charming couple who do it for the love of it, not for the sake of being trendy or exotic. This place is a delightful surprise near Fisherman's Wharf, and it's definitely not what I would have expected in the best possible way.
I believe DeLise offers the best gelato in San Francisco: right temperature, right contrast of flavors, perfect balance of ingredients. I searched for this deliciousness for 4 long years, ever since I moved to the Bay Area from Italy. Highly recommended, you should try it.
My son recommended this place. I enjoyed a nice caramel latte and french macaroons. The owner is so kind. I will definitely be back when I'm in San Francisco again!
