Hillstone - San Francisco

We were enjoying a Bay Cruise and needed a meal before boarding the boat. Everything was wonderful! We were seated right away, and our food arrived promptly. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. I had the ahi tuna tartare, which was absolutely mouthwatering. The tuna practically melted in my mouth, and it had a delightful freshness with a gentle kick from the jalapeños. It was accompanied by toasted ciabatta, half of a perfectly seasoned avocado, and a delicious mustard-dill deviled egg. The rosemary focaccia was outstanding, served with a selection of olives, cheese, and a lovely olive oil/balsamic drizzle. The dessert was also excellent; I highly recommend the pot de crème. I was impressed by the quality of the food in such a busy area, and I would definitely return.

Can’t go wrong at any of their locations, I visit them in every city they operate. Top service and food every time.

They serve the best cheeseburgers in San Francisco, and their selection of beer is excellent as well. The ambiance is also pleasant, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
