Machiya Japanese - San Francisco

Every piece of sushi combination was good. They have other items on the menu but Machiya is a solid mid-level Japanese restaurant

Great place for a casual dinner with friends. The food was very good and the service too. New favorite spot.

My partner were visiting on vacation and had the edamame, a California roll, and two signature rolls. Everything was delicious and you could tell it was extremely fresh. The ambience was perfect for a date or catching up with a friend because you could actually hear each other talk over the pleasant music. The service was great friendly and prompt. They brought us little samples of a couple sake cocktails, as well. We would definitely go back!
