Bidra med feedbackThe best takeout Vietnamese sandwiches on Larkin Street in the Tenderloin area of San Francisco. The area may not be the most picturesque, but the sandwiches are worth the trip. I especially enjoyed the grilled pork and grilled chicken sandwiches. Next time, I will try the meatball sandwich. Ordering was quick, with my sandwich ready in less than 5 minutes. Don't expect warm and fuzzy service here, as it is loud and chaotic with only 3 seats inside. Despite this, the sandwiches are delicious, made with fresh vegetables, secret sauce, and served on a perfect roll. Just be clear with your order preferences, as they may not always get it right. They only accept cash, so be prepared to order when it's your turn. At $4, these sandwiches are a steal and always satisfying. They don't pay attention to the beggars or street dwellers outside, but they serve with a purpose and keep things orderly. I even bought an extra sandwich for a snack or lunch the next day. Parking is nearly impossible, but it's worth the hassle. I even bought a sandwich for my driver as a tip, and he was thrilled. These sandwiches are truly the best I've had, surpassing those I've tried in various cities around the world. A fun and delicious experience!
This was the best banh mi I've ever had! The chicken was delicious, moist, and tender. The cilantro and pickled carrots were perfect, and I especially enjoyed the sliced jalapeños. The crispy, sweet sandwiches were amazing. Trying new food like this is a joy. It's a great value for the quality of the meal.
This restaurant used to serve one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches at an excellent price, but my recent visit revealed a decline in quality. The Bratpork sandwich, which once had flavorful meat, was now dry and tough, making it harder to chew. I have never been a fan of the bread here, as I believe their sandwiches would greatly improve with softer bread. However, the meat used to be tender and delicious. Unfortunately, even the meat now requires extra effort to chew, making the whole sandwich a jaw workout. On the bright side, despite a price increase to $4, it still offers good value if you don't mind the tough texture.
Roast pork or chicken they choose. classic bane Mi style sandwich filled with comminuted carrots, cilantro, daikon radishes, confused tweezers and optionally cut jalapeno paprika in a crispy French sweet roll. very consistent quality makes for return.
Best banh mi bar none, no kidding. Pretty consistent and cannot beat the prices $4 per sandwich. Whole in the wall
