Sushi Groove South - San Francisco

The fish was exceptionally fresh, and the staff were very friendly, resulting in minimal wait times. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some of the best sushi we've had in a long time.

One of the best sushi spots I’ve ever been to! A couple of months ago, I was nearby and really craving sushi, so I decided to give it a try. The fish was absolutely incredible—so fresh and tender, it practically melted in my mouth, and it tasted utterly delicious without the slightest hint of fishiness. Everything was delightful, and the prices were more than reasonable! They even offer my favorite roll, the 49ers, and I must say, they do an amazing job slicing the lemon so thin that you can enjoy it without any awkwardness! I recommended it again just yesterday, and we had a fantastic dinner. I’ve tried many sushi places in the city, but none have matched the quality of the fish here. Thank you so much—I’ll definitely be back!

Hours are misleading, you CANNOT dine in during their earlier hours, and I saw ZERO warning of that before walking there for lunch. I posted the above on Yelp because it's all true. Owner responded suggesting I wasn't paying attention, even though youcan see both on here and Yelp that it isn't clear at all, and when I pointed that out the owner doubled down, said I've neverbeen there, and told me I wasn't a real person. You can see it all on Yelp. I won't come here for the owner, but regardless whatyou think of the exchange I had with them it's just a fact that you can't go to dine in during their lunch hours despite whatthe listed business hours suggest. Also the owner needs to learn professionalism. Take your money elsewhere.

This sushi is outstanding. It's always fresh and packed with flavor. The staff is friendly, and every dish is beautifully presented and visually appealing.

This charming sushi spot offers a variety of sushi rolls. While I find the prices a bit high for what you get, the service was excellent. They kindly treated us to a complimentary bowl of edamame, which was a nice touch.
