Susiecakes - San Francisco

This place is a must-visit! Every time I'm in the San Francisco area, I make sure to stop by. Wren is always so friendly and helpful. My favorite is definitely the coconut cupcake! I can’t wait for another visit to SusieCakes.

I absolutely enjoy the cake slices at this place. The red velvet and lemon flavors are amazing!

I made a quick stop to grab a cupcake from Susie Cupcakes, and I wish I had bought a dozen! The cupcake was incredibly rich and delicious. The cake was moist, adding a fantastic layer of texture. I'm definitely planning to go back!

I want this with the fact that I lived on Chestnut St for many years and always had positive experiences with cakes, cupcakes, cookies etc. On March 24 I visited the area and bought 4 cupcakes to take a friend. When we ate them this evening, they were hard, dry and stabbed. They were definitely not freshly baked this day. My friend had never tried Susie Cakes and after this experience will not eat her products again. I have no reason to return. Very disappointing.

I stopped my SusieCakes on a Sunday evening for a little treat for my girlfriend. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces which made me feel very welcomed. The shop was clean and bright and served as a one stop shop for all your cake needs (candles and cards). There were a lot of options to choose from the different flavors, cake types and sizes. I ended up getting a slice of red velvet and needless to say, my girlfriend and I were happy campers. I think my biggest tip would be to go early versus the end of the day because our cake slice although very delicious was slightly dry. I don't think we'll purchase a whole cake, but the slices are a nice treat!
