318 - SAN GIULIANO TERME

A nice, quiet, clean restaurant in the ancient industrial suburbs of Pisa. Simplicity and refinement, as in the best Chinese tradition. The pandemia has been a crisis for everybody; here they reduced somehow the menu, but made a point to keep the quality high. Now, the choice of dishes is again increasing, with amazing surprises. To quote one: the shrimp's tempura! From the pot to your dish in few seconds, crisp and crunchy, zero-greasy, as you would like it to be (I'm not exaggerating: I had a comparable one only in the best tempura bars in Tokyo). Service is polite and accurate. Warning: in these ex-pandemia times, it may be a bit slow if the restaurant is crowded. In this case, I suggest that you better have all food in common. To summarize: sure the best Chinese restaurant in Pisa, and one of the best restaurants in Pisa, at an incredibly cheap price compared to quality.

Compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the city, Ristorante 318 offers food of a much better quality. Albeit the courses are more or less the same as in the other Chinese places, they really seem home-made. My only complain would be the service: it's not that we had to wait, but mostly that our dishes never came at the same time. So basically we were eating one after the other. Not very romantic!

The best Chinese restaurant I've tried. express kitchen and attention to detail. always fresh ingredients and contained prices. I can't help it, and I'll come back whenever I can. very professional family management and available to please customers.
