Amici's East Coast Pizzeria At Cloudkitchens San Jose

We wanted to try the pizza the new Amici's Pizzeria location. It's a Ghost kitchen with Amici's staff. We haven't eaten Amici's since we last went to a Giants game several years ago. It was delicious but the toppings were scare and it's expensive. We ordered a large with pepperoni and italian sausage and the total was $38! Considering the price and location of Amici's, we don't think we'll be back. We have other go to pizzeria's which are closer and don't skimp onthe toppings.

I used to frequent the old Amici's location in downtown San Jose, where the pizza was outstanding. So, I was really excited to see them reopen and decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, I was completely let down. I spent over $40 on a pizza that was simply terrible—so much so that Little Caesars and Costco seem like gourmet options in comparison. The toppings were falling off, and it wasn't cooked properly. To make matters worse, the service was terrible. After waiting in line, I was instructed to go outside to order over the phone, even though there were terminals and three staff members at the counter who wouldn't take my order in person. They didn't even provide plates or napkins. Overall, this place feels like a poor imitation that tarnishes the Amici's name my family used to love.

I don’t understand why some people are not fond of this Amici’s. When they had a location downtown, we used to order from them several times a month. Although it has transitioned to a ghost kitchen now, the food remains just as good. It may not be the cheapest option, but it is definitely delicious.
