Bidra med feedbackTomahawk steak is chewy, tasteless, and the seating is uncomfortable and crowded.
*A review for families of elementary age children* I made reservations for 4 for a Saturday night to celebrate my husband’s birthday in December. He wanted to dress up and dine at a nice place. I have two kids, 7(f) and 9(m) which I’ve worked hard to educate on how to dine at nicer restaurants. Finding a higher end restaurant that is kid menu friendly is not an easy task since diners that spend more money tend to frown their snobby noses at children in a restaurant and the kitchen rather not add on to their prissy menu. However, thanks to LB Steak, they do have a dedicated kid friendly menu: hamburger, Mac’n cheese, salmon , 4oz filet, or chicken strips at reasonable prices. My children very much enjoyed some Calamari frito misto with us and later their hamburger and macaroni while sipping Shirley temples. Thank you LB Steak for accommodating your notoriously fussy customers. (And a pat on my back for having well mannered kids). I ordered the 6 oz filet medium cooked for $48 . Service forgot my sauce and it was medium rare. It was also smaller than my fist. For $48 I can purchase more filets at the store. My husband ordered the strip $55 medium. He got his sauce so I took some to compensate and his meat was more well done then medium. I informed our waiter, Bruce, as feedback because the kitchen should know but we intended to consume our steaks regardless. The manager got wind and was kind enough to offer dessert which we accepted because kids always like dessert and we were celebrating. Thank you Bruce and Amanda. I know it can’t always be perfect so we appreciate the attention and kindness. Thank you for the service and food.
From the greeting at the host stand to the pre-dinner cocktail in the bar, this steakhouse has welcoming vibes with a beautiful atmosphere. My personal favorite to start with is the steak tartare. The truffle aioli goes with just about anything and everything! I visit every week, multiple times in a week! 10/10 recommendations: steak tartare, bone marrow, sautéed gulf prawns, waygu beef cheeks, branzino, Miyazaki waygu, boneless ribeye with the bordelaise, LB potato, Brussels sprouts, and the bread pudding dessert. Start at the bar! The team is incredible and takes care of their guests above and beyond!
The food was outstanding. Very pricey high end. Caviar and wagu steak is gonna cost. I recommend u NOT get Australian wagu. The Japanese wagu is obvious wagu. Very good.
For some reason when I see the word steakhouse as a part of the name, I automatically assume that the restaurant is known for its high quality steaks, because the name indicates that this is what they specialize in. Well, not this one unfortunately, despite the steak options on the menu, the quality was in my view below standard. Fillet which is supposed to be one of the most tender cuts, was over cooked and not tender. The waiter, despite his years in this industry, seemed a little overwhelmed as he began taking our order for the main course, bypassing the appetizer and drink selection. Then when we reminded him, he still said he takes the main course order first then he’ll come back to take our drink and appetizer order. Every time we had to ask for anything he made the hand gesture that “I got it”, rushing away attending other tables. The restaurant was either short staffed so he was overwhelmed with the number of tables he had to serve, or perhaps he was having an off day. On two occasions, both our server and another server spilled the drink on one of us and on our table. If you’re looking for an amazing experience at a steakhouse, this should not be one of your options. Sorry to say.
