Poke Paradise - San Jose

I love poke, I checked in 6 poke place. Here, the things I like is the fish is chopped kinda big, fresh. Avocado and seaweed salad free. Employees are friendly. But here doesn’t have much options, pretty expensive, only one size (not too big), $13 for basic bowl. Good but still expensive

Good quality and good selection of condiments. Quick service and sitting available also outside.

I am not a fan of Poke. My previous experiences with it have been at grocery markets and I was never impressed. However, this restaurant completely changed my mind and now I love it. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area. It has everything I enjoy about sushi, but in a bowl and at a more affordable price, and it is still just as tasty. The challenge is real here. I have taken on a number of challenges in the Bay Area, but this one is still proving to be elusive. I have added my picture to the wall of failures, but there is always next time. The staff is incredibly friendly and upbeat. This place just makes you leave feeling happy.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with their fresh poke bowls that come in a variety of combinations. All toppings, including avocado, are included with your protein choices. The servers were friendly and accommodated my preferences. I will definitely be returning for more. They also offer a poke bowl challenge for those feeling adventurous, but be prepared, it is a very large portion!
