Excellent food, service and ambiance. Restaurant is in an old family home. Farm fresh cheese and veggies are so memorable. Great wine selection in a wine cellar immediately adjacent to the table. Pepe the server was particularly hospitable.

Our favourite restaurant in San Jose. Excellent cheese tray appetizers, best steak in town and an excellent wine list. We have had excellent birthday parties here every year and the service is spectacular. Seafood is great too as are all items on the menu.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is delicious. My husband and I are vegans and the waiters always looked after our needs. I would come back a thousand times more, highly recommended!

The atmosphere, food, and staff at Don Sanchez were incredible. Our dinner there was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We were seated outside on a romantic patio surrounded by art, colorful lights, and live music. It was magical. And the staff was incredibly attentive and attuned to our every need. We started with the lobster taco, oysters, and rustic tomatoes. All were to die for! And for our entrees we had the chile relleno Wellington and the shrimp ajillo. The Wellington was hearty and spicy, and the shrimp was light and flavorful. It was a little pricy, but worth every dollar!! I would highly recommend Don Sanchez!
