Bidra med feedbackGood place to come for dinner. Portions are big. Prices for big food and wine are fairly reasonable. Decor was interesting with little booths setup and separated by sheer curtains. I tried the chicken kheema, fish kebabs & lamb kebabs - all of which were nice. Service was a little slow.
The meat here is divine, vegetables are cooked perfectly too. The sauces they provide are a perfect compliment to the richness of the meats. Me and my wife always go for the kebab platter which is impossible to finish as the portions are huge.the prices are high, but the food is worth the price.
This is a good restaurant at a prime location at Makati with a wide variety of dishes, foods are delicious. Just the prices are too high!
I was craving for some kebab so we decided to try Hossein's. Since we were so hungry, we each ordered the beef and chicken chelou kebab kubideh. We thought that we can finish it but when it arrived, the order was for more than 1 (at least for us). The order had 2 strips of ground meat each so we tried eating one of each. The beef kebab was really tasteful that I didn't see the need to put some tomato and garlic dip on it. Among all the kebabs I have tasted, I would say that this is the best. As for the chicken, I still would need to put garlic and tomato sauce to give it some kick on its taste. The buttered basmati rice that goes with it is also perfect for the ground meat.Although we weren't able to finish our orders, we were well satisfied both for the food and for their service. We will definitely go back should we get that craving for Persian cuisine.
I must admit this is an excellent kebab house. All the kebab dishes are very well cooked with brilliant presentation. Service is just OK and the price is slightly on the high side. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a taste of Persian food in Manila.
