Docent Brewing - San Juan Capistrano

On the road to 70 : first stop in our epic journey to visit 70 breweries and wineries as a BRILLIANT gift to me my wife has planned in a month long celebration of my 70th birthday this month.Docent has a well balanced selection of brews with a rockin ' decor surrounding you....well worth stopping in!

This place was a great find. The food is very good and they have great choices. The sitting area was beautiful indoor/outdoor. The service was take it or leave it a bit ambivalent by 2 of 3 servers.

Great local brewery! Good beers and live music on my last visit. The outdoor tables will be nice addition to their indoor space when it's a bit warmer.

Beers pretty good, nice decor layout. Seemed like if you’re a local you could have your dog inside, otherwise you had to be outside with yours. We had Sm leashed, well-behaved pup with us got pushed outside. Meanwhile someone I’d guess was a local, had a medium-sized un-leashed dog at the bar the entire time we were there. Consistency in applying policy would be helpful no matter what you decide the policy is.

Love the beer. We keep returning! The best sign of we like the beer menu here. The food menu is a plus. A pretty decent menu selection to go with the great beer selections. Why have the same beer twice is how we roll here! A solid beer selection and fantastic setting to enjoy your draft inside or outside!
