The Original Mels - San Leandro

I had an excellent breakfast at this restaurant. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was eclectic and I enjoyed the music selection, which was not too loud. Overall, one of the best diners in the western area.

Last night, my friends and I went to Mels and had a great time. The chicken club sandwich was delicious. We enjoyed the vintage photos on the walls and the great music playing. Our server, Francisco, was fantastic.

Yummm Jalapeño Melburger was juicy, spicy, cheesy deliciousness for a first timer I was very happy. My fries were nice and hot with a × crisp. Love the ambiance and I just so happened to come eat on the night all the beautiful Lowriders and classic hot rods were there. As a car enthusiasts myself, I was in heaven.

The food was really good (you get a lot of it), the prices very reasonable and they had really good service. They have an old-fashioned orange creamsicle drink that was to die for.

Nice family place.and a big verity of food I would recommend trying them out
