Pier 6 Seafood Oyster House - San Leon

Excellent food oysters on the half shell,seafood gumbo, fried shrimp with fries and Cole slaw all excellent. Excellent service great ambiance and clean.dining on Wednesday afternoon.

I was impressed to far away but it is really nice and good

We were excited to bring our Sugar Land friends to an excellent restaurant on our side of town for a special celebration. We had reservations at 7, and arrived at 6:30. The girls at the front said no problem we have a table for you whenever you want it, enjoy the oysters at the bar. At 7, we asked for our table and there were none. We watched them seat group after group and finally at 7:30 asked to see the manager. He came over asked for our name and never came back. Finally, at 7:40, we were seated at an outside table in a corner right next to another group- not the inside table we wanted. Our guests were served food on chipped plates. The waitress was nice, but they initially didn’t have any glasses for water! The seafood was excellent, as always. At the least, the manager should have checked on us and apologized. The girls at the front need to be trained or replaced.

If you want lunch with a view or a bar this place would be great. but a nice dinner… they just can’t cut it. service was absent and this was a special occasion notes in the reservation they didn’t even acknowledge. main dinning room loud. outer room too cold to sit. seafood was soo bad that i sent it back fast food fish would be better get this they didn’t even remove the item from the bill. whole place feels like a beach bar. people even in shorts and flip flopssad because it opened with such gusto

Food was good server was phenomenal we just found it a bit odd that all three of our plates were chipped pretty seriously.
