Goshi Japanese - San Luis Obispo

Best sushi EVER. Girls group in town for a fun weekend and we were reccomended this place. We arrived around 5:10 on a Friday and there was an hour wait. We put our name in and went nearby for a drink until we got the text that our table was ready. We ordered O Toro shashimi and the albacore with garlic chips to share and then each of us got a combination plate. Everything was amazing! Quality of fish is the best I've ever ever had. Service was friendly and informative. MUST GO SPOT IN SLO!!!

This seems to be everyone's favorite sushi place in SLO and it's definitely the most authentic to genuine Japanese cuisine. The pork belly is incredible!!

This was probably the best restaurant meal I 've had in this county in years, Mistura and The Spoon Trade are very close in the top! The staff was attentive (not annoyingly though), polite, professional, kind, etc. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service, this is REALLY hard to find these days in SLO. The food was SO delicious, fresh and served in a timely manner (even though the restaurant was packed with a wait to get a table). Their menu clearly states what is gluten free, unusual for a sushi restaurant around here. If our waiter didn 't know an answer to a question, he got the correct answer from someone who knew, instead of saying I don 't know or giving a wishy washy answer. I hate to say it, but this is also hard to find in SLO. Everything we ate was delicious and soooo fresh! My 10 year old daughter ate a huge variety of things and kept asking for more. I finally had to cut her off! Seriously, so happy I took my kiddo here on our date night. I wish I could afford to eat here all the time and to give a 30% tip every single time! The only downfall is the price, but to be honest, not only is it worth it, but close in price to any nice restaurant around here. It was really good to see this place still doing so well, even on a Wednesday night!
