Taco King - San Luis Obispo

Searched the menu and they could make me a dish. They had Enchiladas suizas. I asked my with seafood and black beans on the side because it wasn't on the menu. It was delicious. Thank you.

This is a colorful restaurant! They have really great refried beans. That said, the Carne Asada was on the bland side but their salsa bar has choices to spice it up. The Al Pastor had good flavor. And they have really hot charred jalapeños. The mini asada burrito was basic flair with shredded beef, cheese and a lot of rice, which reheated nicely at home the next day. The service was friendly and wearing masks. Moderately priced. They sell T-shirts.

Taco King is phenomenal! Over 30 things on the menu! Their wet sauce is not your typical wet sauce, it's sweet and not bitter. Their decorations take you on a trip to Mexico in itself and they have fantastic outdoor seating and have live parakeets in cages outside that are well taken care of each day and are there for your enjoyment while you eat. Inside the restaurant is very well decorated with authentic style and authentic decorations that scream Mexico. The owners and staff are very respectful and they remember people that come in frequently, if you get busy and can't make it for a while then the next time you go in they will still remember you.

I had gotten 2 burritos and a burrito bowl to go. Their menu was gigantic with a huge Salas bar with many containers all the food was done fast and super hooked up. It was all very delicious. Definitely made a good choice for a new take out place.

We drove through the city and needed somewhere to stop by for lunch. We loved their food!! My son was craving fish tacos so ordered fish tacos from a la carte, fresh cod cooked just right. I had carnita plate,very generous portions, not all fatty meat like some stores. Our family constantly finds restaurants food too salty but at Taco King everything was seasoned just right and that is a big deal! Don't forget fantastic churro with ice cream! Friendly service and colorful decorations cheered us up while driving in the heavy miserable weather.
