Bidra med feedbackMy experience with the coffee shop has been excellent until today. I ordered a pour over san diego and a C.H.E.B sandwich under the name uriel as my breakfast. I arrived there on the 19th juni 2022 at 8:00 a.m. because I try to avoid the busy hour, and I like a walk after it. I kept my san diego waiting for about 10 minutes, which is normal. but for the sandwich I waited for 1 hour! from 8 9 o'clock! I still don't have a sandwich. So I asked one of the hired to make the coffee, but I didn't tell her I would wait 1 hour. only for the case that she became nervous and messed up what she does because it reached the busy hour. some customers that I started asking what happened with their order. all they have is: I don't know what's happening back there isn't my business, I don't work back. Of course, she uses the excuse that we are busy, who ordered stacked himself. as a regular customer who goes to the coffeeshop on a weekly or weekly basis, I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. when the manager is here and works in the back, everything is in order. he welcomes people and has some short chats. but this type that works behind today is incredibly slow.
I thought I gave him a second chance. the second time was worse. hot vanilla latte with shot vanilla was not even warm and no vanilla. second attempt was warmer, but no hint on vanilla....and no taste of good loop and tastes like water..$7 .great spot... about it.....not for coffee lovers
The staff was very friendly. I had a nitro cold brew and a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was excellent! The croissant was lovely. I enjoyed the flavors of tomatoes, cheese, spice, and herbs. I can't wait to try their crepes next.
One of the staff members, Chelsea, even remembered my name after just a few visits. This kind of personal touch goes a long way in making customers feel appreciated and building brand loyalty. To me, the level of service and overall customer experience is just as important as the taste of the coffee. I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about regarding training and systems, because the current team seems to have everything under control. There may be occasional hiccups during busy times or rough days, but in my experience of visiting about 100 times, they almost always meet my high expectations. If you treat the staff with respect and appreciation, you will receive excellent service in return. I highly recommend giving Raised Coffee a try.
1. Always greet customers when they arrive. Do not leave them waiting at the counter without acknowledgment. If busy, simply say "hi, I'll be right with you". Unfortunately, none of the four employees working nearby did this. 2. Provide training on how to use the coffee grinder. Employees should know how to adjust for a coarser or finer grind. 3. Implement better organization. As a frequent customer of simple black coffees, I find it takes a long time to receive my order due to lack of designated positions. There should always be someone at the register with a backup for drink making when needed. 4. Expand the menu beyond iced coffee and offer a cold brew option. With a name like "House of Black Coffee", there should be a specialty in black coffee. 5. Ensure that the drip coffee is served hot. I have visited in the morning multiple times and found the coffee to be only warm.
