It's Tabu Sushi Grill - San Marcos

I love everything about this place. Seriously one of the best sushi places in North County SD. You seriously can taste the freshness of the sushi. Customer service is great but the food does take long so we usually order once we order our drinks. That's how much we love coming here and already know the menu!Food: 5/5

The service here somehow seems to keep getting worse every time I come. We used to frequent this place twice a month but the last three times in a row have all been below par. From the bartender who has better than to make drinks (god forbid you ask him to fix the drink he makes) to the servers who allow the food to die in the window after the chefs make it. I give a three because the food is fresh and if you end up sitting at the sushi bar it's better service.

Great experience every time I go, sushi is always fresh, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Jade was our server, she was phenomenal and provided great service. 10/10 recommend!!!

Honestly have been coming here since undergrad but it has gotten EVEN BETTER!! I enjoyed every bite that I had from the Delilah Salad, to the Lemon Cilantro roll, Avatar roll, Protein roll and rainbow roll, ALL were amazing. Not to mention the exceptional service and attentiveness the whole staff had from the beginning to end of my dinner. I will DEFINITELY be bringing my friends and family here. SO yummy!!!

Waited for an hour to receive two rolls, our waitress gave our rolls to the table next to us and overheard she comped them our rolls and never said anything to us. There was no communication in the delay of our order and she noticeably avoided our table. Otherwise food was great will be back in the future. Mistakes happen just make sure you communicate with your customers. Will be back in the future
