Panda Garden - San Marcos

Today, however, I was feeling tired after work, and since my bank is located in the same parking lot as Panda Garden, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the honey spicy shrimp with some added chicken. Unfortunately, both the shrimp and chicken were incredibly tough—so tough that I could hardly chew them. I managed to eat about a third of my meal before giving up because it was just too disappointing. I didn’t even want to take the leftovers home. When I shared my concerns with the waitress, I was almost apologetic about it, but interestingly, there were no apologies or explanations given. To add insult to injury, despite leaving two-thirds of my meal uneaten, they charged me the full price without any acknowledgment of the issue. I ended up paying around $20 for just a few pieces of inedible chicken and shrimp. I see that they have regular customers, and I can’t fathom what they order, but my experience was quite unsatisfactory. The lack of an apology or any adjustment made me feel even more frustrated. I felt compelled to write this review because I definitely won’t be returning. No matter how tired I am, I’ll gladly make the trip to the Pan Asia buffet from now on. For about the same price, or even a little more, I can enjoy a truly delicious meal with an incredible variety (I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken—it’s absolutely to die for!).

I was very disappointed. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review, and it was because my experience was so poor. I read all the positive reviews and was really looking forward to enjoying some good Chinese food. Based on those reviews, something must have gone wrong in the kitchen today. The sweet and sour chicken was extremely dry and almost inedible. The pork fried rice had an odd flavor that I didn't enjoy. The wonton soup was very bland. Even the fortune cookies were stale! But the worst part for me was the egg rolls; they were more like mushy spring rolls! I was really looking forward to a good egg roll!

I had lunch on Monday at 1:30. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food tasted like it had been sitting at the bottom of a pot for four hours—not very fresh and a bit overcooked. It wasn't enjoyable at all.

I love her cream cheese competitions!! I'm going there to order her. I like the other dishes vegetables and chicken spicy style, but CC Wontons are the bomb.com!

Very delicious Chinese food. Panda garden provides Chinese food that not greasy and oily, all dishes are yummy and the meat are fresh. For me, Panda Garden is the best Chinese food in SD.
