Pollo El Rey Charcoal Grilled Chicken

Never judge a restaurant by its proximity to a gas station. I had the best chicken I've had in a long time! It reminded me of the delicious chicken I enjoyed during my trips to Mexico. The chefs are great, and the staff is very friendly.

On our way back home to Fort Worth from Corpus Christi, my family and I decided to stop and take a break to grab a bite to eat. I must say, this restaurant is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and assisted those in our group who were unsure about what to order. The food was outstanding and was served promptly, even with our large group. If you're looking to take a break from the road and enjoy delicious Mexican cuisine, this is definitely the place to stop.

This place serves the best chicken in Texas! The mesquite-grilled chicken is always fresh and piping hot, never dry. It comes with a whole grilled onion, tortillas, salsa, and pepper rice beans. While it's located in a small truck stop/convenience store and has limited seating, it's definitely worth a stop!

Absolutely, love the chicken here. Always fresh, hot taste amazing. Staff are always very polite. Stop when we get through.

Best grilled chicken in the area better than popeyes, kfc, churches! chicken torta, chicken plate, beef tacos are a big portion tasty. yall go here if you want to eat something better than fast food!!
