Midici The Neapolitan Pizza Company

I can only describe my wonderful experience at this restaurant as we had a private event rather than a regular visit. The staff working that evening were extremely friendly. All the drinks were expertly prepared and served. Both the regular and vegetarian pizzas were delicious, and the desserts were also delightful. If the food is consistently this good on regular days, it’s definitely a place worth visiting!

I ordered a pizza for $22 and truffle fries for $11. Unfortunately, the truffle fries were quite disappointing; they didn't taste like truffles at all and were mainly just garlicky. I wouldn’t order them again. On the other hand, the pizza dough was fantastic, although the center was a bit soggy. Overall, I found the prices to be quite steep compared to other Neapolitan places in the Bay Area offering similar sizes.

The highlight of the menu is the Neapolitan pizza, featuring a thin crust topped with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, offering a wonderfully fresh flavor. We also tried the homemade sausage, which was served in small crumbles and provided a unique twist compared to the typical sweet, thick tomato sauce found on regular pizzas. Just be prepared for that difference in style. The Burrata appetizer was also quite enjoyable. The beer selection was impressive, with options on tap from Anchor and other local Bay Area breweries, although the price of $8.50 for a pint is a little on the high side. The restaurant is located on the second floor and has a spacious layout with well-spaced tables. The service was friendly and efficient.

The place was not busy when we came, but no staff came to sit down. We asked and picked up the table with beautiful view and comfortable sitting. The service was slow. Service staff is very friendly and professional. Our food Burrata Caprese and Pizzas were just tooo good. Come on.

We had the meat and cheese board and it was fantastic. The chicken pesto pizza was also delicious. We spent about $60, and it was well worth it for delicious wood fired pizza and a very well portioned charcuterie board. The food we got perfectly fed 3 people. Service was quick and friendly. Decor is visually interesting, and I love the aesthetic. I look forward to dining again in the future and trying more of the menu.
