Raretea - San Mateo

Their passion fruit drink was amazing. You could even taste the seeds. But lately we haven't been getting the seeds and the taste is more artificial. Hopefully they bring back the old recipe!

I'm a big fan of this team. Efficient, usually very tasty; here almost weekly. But today both tea drinks tasted watered down; almost as if they'd been rushed. The hot black milk tea with no sugar was very light; the high mountain milk tea also no sugar was mostly all milk in taste and not tea forward at all. Maybe just an off day. Excited to be back again to see if something's changed or was just an off day.

The pearls were enjoyable! The peach jasmine green tea, sweetened with 50% cane sugar, was a bit too sweet for my taste but had a great peach flavor. On the other hand, the lemon jasmine green tea was delicious, but the 50% sweetness wasn't enough for that one. Next time, I would definitely try the lemon at 80% sweetness and the peach with no sweetness at all!

The drinks were excellent, as always. The staff was friendly, the environment was clean, and it was easy to pick up our drinks at the front.

I really appreciate the quick service and high quality at this place. It's ideal for both delicious zero-sugar drinks and wonderfully sweet options.
