Empire Buffet - San Pablo

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was awful—waiters constantly made faces at me while I was eating. When it came time to pay, they insisted on tips, even though tipping should be optional. If you don’t give a tip, they react negatively, muttering in their language and using gestures that make it clear they’re not happy. It's frustrating because tips should not be mandatory.

This restaurant is disappointing and overpriced. I believe kids aged 5 and under should eat for free. The food was unappetizing and served cold. The waitstaff were unfriendly, and I even witnessed some customers leaving without paying. The overall atmosphere felt shady, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. I'm honestly surprised this place is still in business. I wouldn't recommend dining here—it's better to cook at home.

The prices are too high at $25, and the quality has really declined. I used to love this place, but now it's disappointing. There's no sushi at all, and I definitely won't be coming back.

Despite having a family of 6 and a couple in front of us, we still only waited 5 minutes for a table! The options they had were tasty! However we noticed that 1 whole food row was unavailable the grill/sushi bar was not in operation. Additionally, the chocolate ice cream machine was not working. There was not a whole lot of choice. TERRIBLE WAITRESS. When the bill came, we noticed one server signal to our waitress, and she came by and snatched the bill out of my hand as I was walking to pay at the front desk. All she did was give my bill to the man at the desk, and waited for me to sign the bill and possibly leave a tip. When I signed the bill, I noticed her staring at me and she pointed to the tip section on the receipt and said I needed to tip! I found this very bold and rude of her to act like this, considering the service was not deserving of a tip and many food options weren't available. After I wrote no tip on the receipt, she stormed off. I wouldn't go back. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here, not even for something cheap as it isn't.

Excellent food, wide variety, seafood delicious, Chinese dim sum and Western dim sum are also good, but the air is a bit cloudy, is there a problem with the air conditioning system? So fast tasting, fast leaving, I'm suffocating... .
