Bidra med feedbackFriendly, quick and attentive service for Single Diner. On keto diet and adjusted accordingly, chop salad, vegetables and lamb. Fun that the cuts were a bit thicker, but still good lakes and grill marks. Beautiful house wine, but wanted to pour for a little more healthy. The decor is dated but gives the old world charm. San Pablo is a bit down, but LA Strada is a beautiful jem for the area.
We were seated immediately, dishes came quickly (pesto gnocchi, scallop salad, lasagna, and eggplant parmesan). Did have to ask for the wine list, but I did like the Pinot Grigio I ordered. The complimentary freshly grated parmesan was good. Waiter kindly took a photo of us.
I placed a pickup order for a few of their anniversary specials, the woman that took the phone order had okay phone etiquette but the blonde man that was greeting guests/bringing out orders had amazing customer service. The meals are tasty and include a side of delicious polenta and mixed veggies. Only recommendation is to order your garlic bread lightly cooked, ours was too hard. We ordered the eggplant Parmesan, veal marsala and salsiccia peperonata. Everyone enjoyed their food!
At the moment, they offer both indoor and outdoor dining, and their bar is open as well. The food remains exceptional—never a letdown. It consistently provides a warm, homey atmosphere. I also love their bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I typically opt for their specials or the linguini with shrimp. I highly recommend the ravioli, calamari, lasagna—really, everything on the menu is great. For dessert, their tiramisu and crème brûlée are our favorites. We used to come here for celebrations with groups of 40 during the pre-Covid era. They even offer a personalized menu for special occasions, tailored specifically for the guests.
I began my meal with the Mozzarella Caprese, and it was simply delicious. Next, I had a cup of Minestrone, which was also fantastic. For the main course, I opted for the beef ravioli, served with sausage in an aurora sauce—absolutely fabulous! The coffee was excellent as well; it required no sugar or cream to balance out any bitterness. And of course, no meal is complete without dessert, so I treated myself to the Tiramisu, which was outstanding!
