Bidra med feedbackThe food was so good I ordered twice. And the service was amazing.
I had a shrimp cocktail that had curry in it. I abhor curry. It should have been mentioned in the menu that it was made with curry. I also had the beet salad, which is usually my favorite at any other restaurant. This one was made with a few Brussel sprout leaves and was very disappointing. The bread basket was delicious. Which is why i gave it 2 stars. Also my server was excellent and upon seeing that I wasn’t eating asked if he could remedy the situation and brought me an aioli but that just didn’t make up for just a regular delicious cocktail sauce that i was hungering for.
I brought my family there because I had recently had a phenomenal experience. I thought we had found our GO-TO nicer steakhouse. I personally ordered the same thing, the same way. Boneless Ribeye, medium rare. But sadly, it was a completely different taste and experience. Last time, the meat was half over cooked (pink in middle and barely red anywhere) but when the meat quality is amazing, it still tastes melt-in-your-mouth good, which it was. This time, the meat was actually cooked to request, red and warm in the middle all around. Which normally is a great thing. But the meat quality was not there. Instead of being melt-in-your-mouth, I had to put quite an effort into cutting it and really work at it to chew like a cheaper grocery store steak meat. I don’t know where it went wrong. It’s supposed to be USDA Prime grade I believe and I have never had this unpleasantly tough of a steak either at a restaurant or cooking prime steak at home. I’m very disappointed.
First time here today, very happy we came here, loved the beautiful space, the hostess welcomed us warmly, we we were promptly seated and our server was there quickly (I hate places where you have to sit around for 20 mins , this is not the case here . We came here for lunch 30 mins before closing , so it was quiet. I had the Grand Madame cocktail was delish I had 2 of these , and my husband had beer. We had the bone marrow and oysters for appetizers, and my husband had the Filet Mignon and LB Potatoes and I had the lobster roll with fries (good portion with lots of meat, fries, had to take it home as I couldn’t finish it! , finished with the creme brûlée yummy! Great service, our server was outstanding, and we”ll be back!
I came here with my boyfriend for dinner. We had the calamari, shrimp, and shishito pepper appetizer and Ceasar salad to start, a bottle of Michele Chiarlo red wine, he had the 12 oz rib eye, I had the Miyazaki steak in 6 oz, and we also shared Brussel sprouts and the twice baked potato. All the food was spectacular especially the calamari, steaks, and potato. Service was phenomenal!! We wanted to eat dessert, but had no room for it after all that scrumptious food! We'll definitely be back.
