Sam's In Virg - Sandbridge

We love this place. Our favorite when we visit Va beach every year

Had supper the other night, first time at this restaurant, it was recommended by friends, the waitress was friendly and helpful, I asked her about fresh local shrimp (which is in season now) she replied they didn’t have fresh local shrimp, I asked about fresh local fish, she replied they didn’t have any, apparently they have frozen fish and shrimp shipped in, I was very disappointed and when I reported to my friends our experience they thought the restaurant had been sold as they used to have fresh seafood there. So they said they would not be going back there.

Always a treat when go. Wings the Big Sams Way are amazing. Long wait time but it's worth it.

That was some of the best food I've ever eaten. I had the inlet platter and the only thing I didn't really care for was the clams. And that was probably just my personal taste. Service was outstanding and the price was reasonable. Wonderful wonderful place.

Had a great breakfast and coffee. Had combo platter with eggs, potatoes and sausage. They also have grits with cheese.
