The Lodge - Sandersville

Got to try this place next to Harveys in Sandersville. You can get great salads and sandwiches. It is also a meat market with some if the best choices anywhere.

Great selection of sandwiches, wraps, and salads! I eat here at least once a week, typically more! Love being able to sit on the front porch! They have great steaks jalapeño poppers for take home dinner as well!

The layout of this restaurant was a little confusing. We happen on it because we were shopping at the Grocery Store next to it. Place was packed! Supposedly it was a hunting lodge. In a Rundown Victorian house. Probably the locals know it's background. The Reuben I ordered was New York deli standard. It was great! It was worth the wait!!! My wife had the BLT Fantastic! It also sells Meat and fish. That's why my corn beef was out of this world! A hidden gem. We found only because my wife saw it out the corner eye.

Friendly fast service. Very clean and country style. The texan was bbq brisket with bacon,cheese pickles on hoagie bun. It was very tasty. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and tasty. Eating on the wrap around front porch was fun.

Staff and owners are always friendly and helpful. Sandwiches at lunch are excellent. The very best selection of fresh meats along with frozen seafood. The steak burgers are my favorite along with the filets.
