Tgi Fridays - Sandusky

While at the Hotel Breakers we wanted to get a bite without having to spend a ton in the park and Fridays was located at the hotel we were staying at. We have it a go and apart from what seemed like a smaller menu it was an average TGI Fridays. The Mango-Henny Lemonade I had was delicious and a nice balance of Sweet and Hardness of the Henny. The chicken sandwich was about in line of what I was expecting from a Chicken sandwich, a nice crispy chicken with a kick from the aioli spread. Fries were golden and crispy, service was a tad slow but understandably as it look like it was pretty busy

The food was decent, but I was disappointed that they removed the toastada nachos from the menu. I ended up ordering the famous kartoffels, but they were thinly sliced and overcooked. When I spoke to the manager about it, he brought me a replacement that looked the same but just had more toppings added. Overall, the meal cost me an extra $13.

Eating is not great. we had 10 people in our group. the steak was hard. there was a hair in my food so I didn't eat it anymore. there are not many food options around cedar point, so I think beglers can't be pickers. the burgers were in order. drinking was good. Overall, I'd rather never eat it again. mainly because of the haare in my eating.

After seeing some negative reviews, I felt compelled to share our positive experience at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised when we gave our phone number to be notified when our table was ready, and received a text less than 10 minutes later. The hostesses were very friendly and we were seated promptly. Our server, Tiffany, was amazing! She quickly brought out our drinks and appetizers, allowing us to order at our own pace. The appetizers were delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Our main meals were enjoyable and flavorful, and Tiffany made sure to keep our drinks filled, including my favorite, Pibb. The only downside was the noise from some loud children, but that is to be expected in a family-friendly restaurant.

The restaurant is basic and unpretentious. Unless you have an hour to spare for your meal and are prepared to wait even longer, avoid coming here at all costs. The service is terrible, with slow service and no utensils provided in a timely manner. There were no refills offered either. The only thing prompt was the bill. Moral of the story: order your food well in advance and be prepared to wait. I do not recommend this restaurant.
