Bidra med feedbackThey now have a food truck in Estacada in the parking lot behind Timber Inn. Not on their menu is the best burrito I have ever had, huge for 7 bucks. Steak, chicken pork, all over the top. I haven't even tried their menu items yet. The burrito is that good.
Best. Tamales. Ever. I got the pork tamales and they were wonderful. A bit more moist than other tamales I've had (not a negative thing, just an observation), but it was wonderful. Instead of being wrapped in a corn husk, I believe it was wrapped in a banana leaf. The Red salsa-ish sauce they provide is also really good. Different than I've had before but really, tasty. This tastes very home made and authentic. The flavors are spot on and I am dreaming about the next time I can go get more.
I got the chicken panucho and the 2 polcanes and both were great but I highly recommend the polcanes! They were very filling and reminded me of tamales with their filling and had a perfectly spicy salsa topping. It was 9$ for the three things. Very yum
Wow! The food is amazing and so fresh! The handmade empanadas are a must try!
I've eaten here twice and both times the food was fresh, delicious, made with great care and attention, and very reasonably priced. They have Happy Hour from 2-5 on weekdays with special deals. Plus, there are many choices of items you will not find in most Mexican food carts. Tonight I ordered way too much food for one person, but ended up eating it all anyway. Plus, the people who work here are super friendly. Can't say enough good things about this cart! Note: This review is for the cart at the Eastport Food Center on 82nd Ave. in Portland. I've never been to the Sandy location.
