Bungalow Retreat - Sanford

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. First and foremost, the restaurant has one of the most unique setups I have ever seen. There are individual rooms, salt rooms, a happy hour area, a regular dining area, and probably more sections that I haven't discovered yet. The drinks were excellent and the food was amazing. I ordered the temporary appetizer which was fantastic. For my main course, I had the daily special - a steak over ravioli dish. The steak was marinated for 12 hours and served with a balsamic reduction. The ravioli was filled with ricotta, mushrooms, and artichokes, creating a delicious combination of flavors. I usually don't like ravioli but this dish was phenomenal. I also ordered a side of amazing avocado fries. For dessert, we had the orange cream cake which was incredibly delicious. The owner was very friendly, the chefs were fantastic, and the waitstaff was top-notch. I was visiting from out of state with my family and we all enjoyed the meal immensely. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. I heard the burgers are the best in the city! My aunt couldn't stop smiling, and both my mother and uncle ordered the same dish as me. Even though there was a mix-up with our order, the pork chops that were mistakenly brought out first were absolutely delicious. My mother and uncle also raved about the coffee they had with dessert. If you haven't been here yet, you should definitely go. It's a small place so I recommend making reservations, especially for weekend visits. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

The Bungalow Retreat has swiftly become a beloved spot for my family and friends. We have relished Sunday brunch with mimosas, happy hour, and special events. The food, ambiance, and service all deserve a 5-star rating. It is definitely worth the 30-minute drive for me.

What a fantastic find! This place has it all - stunning outdoor terraces, delicious tapas and small plates, private massage chairs, a cozy lounge, and a vibrant bar. The short rib burger was absolutely mouthwatering.
