Pilots Cove Cafe - Sanford

Food was overcooked, overpriced and small portions. Great service but the food was terrible. I ordered a chicken ceasar wrap that was not what I ordered and had black olive and tomatoes in it and was fried so it was warm, tried it but couldn't eat it. The rest of my family ordered the fisherman's platter. They said the lobster roll was good but shrimp and calamari and haddock way overcooked. Only upside was the service, our server was kind and checked on us frequently. They also allowed our dog and they were very good with him and brought him water.

Good food, servers are very friendly, love the atmosphere sitting outside and watching the planes. No complaints. A must try.

Totally cool being at the airport. It was so, so I get that the servers were chatting but, I still had not awesome service. The burrito was actually kind of awful. I get that they don't do mexican but it was bland and just not awesome.

This is an adorable place and I truly enjoyed my visit while attending Rockadile’s opening act for Ron Keel.The outside seating was quaint and the stage for the band was a bit small but seem appropriate.There is an inside restaurant as well and access to the bathrooms was very easy. I also saw a few portable toilets available as well.The outside bar seemed well stocked. The bar servers were friendly and attentive.Rockadile is a fun band with a very young lead singer(11 years old! He sang every song well and the band sounded fantastic!Ron Keel was so personable and put on a great show! His voice is incredible and he is such a talented musician. I’m so thankful I was able to see him play in such an intimate setting.I highly recommend checking this place out! Being able to watch the planes come and go was also a lot of fun.

The food was good, unfortunately we arrived during the lunch rush and delivery of the food took a while. Good food and service and it was fun watching the operation of a small airport.
