Schnapper's Hots - SANIBEL

I had been on the hunt for great burgers and hot dogs ever since I moved to Southwest Florida from North Carolina two years ago, but my search had been largely unsuccessful. After visiting countless places, I finally found what I was looking for. It's rare to find a spot down here that offers chili on a burger, so when I spotted Carolina-style options on Schnapper's menu, I knew I had to check it out. The cheeseburger and hot dog, each topped with mustard, chili, slaw, and onions, brought back memories of my favorite joint back home. The hand-cut, breaded onion rings were incredible as well. I was too full for ice cream this time, but I’ll definitely be returning... again and again, so there's plenty of time for that. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable, especially for a place on the island.

Absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, tasty, and prepared quickly. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They also accept Apple Pay, which is a nice perk. This will definitely become my go-to spot on the island. I love this place!

First visit to Schnapper?s Hots for late lunch today. This restaurant has no indoor seating, they have a couple of standing counters to eat indoors. All seating is outside. We ordered a chili dog $5.25), Grandma Kramer $4.75), original $5.25),cheeseburger $8.85), medium fry $3.95) and we went back after we ate for ice cream. The hotdogs were tasty but also havenatural casings which my husband hates. It?s nice they also have burgers so he was happy. The hot dogs are tasty but I wasn?t afan of the chili. While it?s doesn?t have beans which is perfect, it was more spicy than I feel it needs to be. Not kid friendlychili. The hot dogs are typical sized so unless you have a small appetite, you should order at least two. The burger was prettygood and the fries were awesome. They offer about 40 different flavors of ice creams also in some fun flavors. They offer bothshakes and malts.

The food was amazing! The chili dog, cheeseburger, onion rings, and fries were all fantastic. The service was incredibly quick, and the atmosphere was clean and charming. We will definitely be returning! Update: We visited again the next day. The grouper sandwich for lunch was delicious, and the grilled chicken sandwich for dinner was excellent. The ice cream was outstanding as well. This has become our new favorite spot to eat on the island!

Finding a place where you can even get chili on a burger down here is almost impossible when I saw Schnaper's Carolina style on the menu, I had to stop. The Cheeseburger and the hot dog, everyone with mustard, chili, Slav and onions reminded me of my favorite place at home and the hand cut and baked onion rings were amazing. I was too full for ice, but I'm going to go back... and again... so there will be a lot of time for it. Prices were also appropriate for a place on the island.
