California's Teriyaki Grill - Santa Ana

I ordered the chicken and beef plate, as well as a chicken bowl, but the food was disappointing. It lacked flavor, tasting plain and dry — not enjoyable at all. To make matters worse, my co-worker ended up getting food poisoning. I won't be returning to this location; I'd prefer to go to Mos Burger instead. Your other locations, like the ones in Orange, CA on Katella and in Lake Forest, CA, offer much better quality and taste. As for customer service, the manager didn’t offer any solutions. He kept deflecting responsibility and failed to take ownership of the situation. He outright canceled my $100 order simply because we requested extra sauce. There should be an option online to add sauce, but since there isn’t, we included the request in the comments. His response when I reached out was, “We need to charge for the sauce, and since you didn’t reply or pay for it, we need to cancel your order.” Regarding the ambiance, we were ordering takeout! I truly hope someone higher up sees this review and takes action. It’s outrageous that a $100 order was canceled over a request for extra sauce. This reflects poorly on the business, and the manager needs to improve his customer service skills and learn how to provide solutions. I'm sure the owner would be upset to know that the store lost a $100 sale over something so trivial.

The food is excellent, but the service leaves much to be desired. They frequently mess up orders, and correcting mistakes can be quite a hassle. I won’t be returning. Food rating: 4/5.

Disappointed I asked for the chicken burger no onions no pickles no tomatoes and no cheese I fell in love with this burger as a child but today I was disappointed with the burger with no special sauce on it I didn't mind the tomato but no SAUCE!!!

The food is trash it doesn't taste good and they're a little bit overpriced and the quality is not good the the people there they don't agree to good they don't care about their customers you talk to them and they respond like they don't care about their customers or their job I'd rather go spend a little bit more but get good food somewhere else
