California Pizza Kitchen At Santa Barbara

Has to do this because CPK Thai Crunch Salad is superior, but... we had a terrible experience at this point. Without too much detail, the things that went wrong: vegetarians keep salad with sub for vege chicken came with chicken meat, and my vegetarian SIL accidentally eaten chicken meat (they's vege for over a decade check your bill replacement salad for vege had 't have avocado in it, although the additional fee for avocado was still on the bill. Not good for large groups table of 7, two nets came out, the others did not arrive for at least 15min so that the two first meals had to be eaten before all others got their food or they 'd be cold. Pizza wasn't hot on arrival. Not good for small children/babys We had a 2 years old last meal. (not sure how to make a salmon dish and a large pizza takes longer than salads to make a child pizza.. Expect Asked for more menus twice (only had 2 for a table of 7 and they never came. 3 times asked for water? For the third time, we have something. Asked for side panels for the appetizers? never came. Dirty appetizers have never been deleted. The staff would drop things and then not stay long enough to see if we had everything we needed, so it was impossible to mark someone down for help/service. For example, asked for fresh tasted pepper, but they bought chili flakes and I didn't have the chance to say that it does that I wanted black pepper. I've never been asked how our meal was. Normally, my time would not be wasted to write such an evaluation, but it was for my mother 70. Birthday (which they knew and overall the experience was so annoying for the whole family. Only screaming is to Sam who wrote a note and left it at the reception that we would come (even if they don't take reservations).

Supper yummy food :D absolutely loved their butter cake dessert and the pasta?s were really nice . our server G gave amazing service and was really friendly!

Could have been worse? but I will never eat here again. I was in another place, but I don't know it's so terrible. it tasted like they never washed their pizza oven dishes. we had a full cheese pizza that tasted as if it were immersed in peppermint.

In the restaurant today ordered half a salad and was charged $21 no drink only half a salad, then when I asked for bread, the waiter told me that they didn't have and that she had another bake some 10-15 minutes later I asked again and he said he forgot and that she didn't put in the oven yet. Definitely will not return to this restaurant

I'm not sure why it took us so long to try California Pizza Kitchen, but I'm really glad we finally did. Interestingly, our first experience with CPK was in Nevada last month (go figure), which reminded us that there's one near us. The food is fantastic, and the service is incredibly friendly. I decided to try the Tostada pizza out of curiosity, and it was so delicious that I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. Our waiter, Angel, was accompanied by Sawer, and together they provided us with the best customer service we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be returning during our next visit to Santa Barbara.
