Fresco Cafe - Santa Barbara

My experience with the food has been a solid 5 both take out and on site and I go there 3 to 4 times a month . My observation is the appearance of the restaurant is in need of s serious cleaning, painting and overall sprucing up. The deteriorating pationeeds to be replaced.

Moving 09-01-22 to 23 E Canon Perdido St A Santa Barbara local favorite bistro for decades. Casual and unassuming walk-up serving delicious house-made daily specials complimented by a menu of custom soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas andmore. Plenty of seating both inside and out.

I would give Fresco a 5-star rating if it weren't for the young shorter lady with long lashes who was working the register on 11/3/2021. Every time I've encountered her there, she never greets customers or smiles. Additionally, she tends to roll her eyes at customers when they don't understand something. I've noticed this behavior multiple times during my visits. However, everyone else at the restaurant provides excellent customer service, and the food is absolutely amazing!

The new location of Fresco is fantastic and conveniently situated near many attractions in downtown Santa Barbara. You place your order at the counter, then find a seat, and they'll bring your food to you. The service is excellent!

I visited because I know the food is usually good, but the experience was disappointing. The girl who took my order didn't seem too enthusiastic, and the other girl at the register looked unhappy to be there as well. They told me it would take 20 minutes for our order, but after 45 minutes, I inquired about it. The girl then told me to check around the corner for it, without having mentioned at the start that pickup was in a different location, nor was there any sign indicating that. Their communication is really lacking. I should have anticipated poor service when I saw someone else storm out while wishing us good luck with the service!
