Mandarin Palace - Santa Barbara

We had diving fish, soup, chicken fried rice and kung Pao chicken. It was lovely!!!! Diving fish was amazing! 100% recommend.

Very very native and tasty Chinese, Hunan cuisines. They are the best among so many restaurants I have been in the LA area. Will definitely revisit here if I am in San Barbara again.

We had a large group and we were all pleasantly surprised with the quick and friendly service. I highly recommend the salt and pepper fish and the general sao chicken. That was excellent.

I have no idea why this place got so many bad reviews. This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, serving truly authentic Szechuan cuisine. If you know Chinese or are adventurous, ordering from the Chinese menu is highly recommended. That?s where all the good stuff is.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and tried the Dan Dan Mian (spicy minced pork over noodles). I was impressed by the rich flavors of the pork, which included hints of garlic and ginger. The noodles had a perfect texture that complemented the dish nicely. If you enjoy spicy food, I highly recommend trying this dish.
