Baita Gamsblut

I cannot recommend this Hutt enough. We had the pleasure of meeting Luca and he made our experience one to remember! We ate local cuisine, he advised us on where to hike safely and for the best views, shared with us his home made grappa and told us stories about his culture and that of the valley! It was the most magical experience with AMAZING food, views and company! Make sure you visit this one of a kind mountain hut if you're lucky enough to be passing! Thank you Luca for making our visit so wonderful, feeding us, advising us and sharing with us your wonderful home!

Very nice place to stop while skiing in Val Gardena . Food very good , quick service , beautiful view of the snow mountains. Very recommended.

This alpine hut was my first choice based on the menu and views, and was a short to moderate level downhill trail 2C, from the top of the Col Raiser gondola. Follow the trail behind Col Raiser restaurant, passing Odles Hutte, veering left towards Fermeda Chair, passing Cuca hutte, the chairlift, and then Neidia hutte, before arriving at Gamsblut (30-40 later). Great sundeck and food! Pasta Pomodoro and wine. No problem getting an open table for lunch, although service was a bit slow due to the weekend. You're 100% there for the amazing views! (A continual slope back up to Col Raiser to work off the meal, but doable at a reasonable pace, then gondola down to S. Cristina). LOVED IT.

Typical refuge with good cuisine and spectacular views of the saddle and the saxolungo. Big strudel. recommend
