Buffalo Wild Wings - Santa Cruz

Visited and tried this restaurant due to unavailability of parking in Solenad. Buffalo wings offers choice of sauce, taste is good, acceptable but I will not crave for it. Pizza is , crust is like a bread. Offers playstation for kids and teens as well. Menu is SO pricey!

The main reason why we visited is because they serve GUINNESS beer. My boyfriend has been craving for it since he got back from London. He’s a bit of a Cerevisaphile, an aficionado of beers, and the latter was his favorite. Apart from the beer, we tried their famous buffalo wings and chicken quesadilla. Food was delectable, although a bit heavy on the budget for the serving size.

Our family planned to have some bulalo for lunch in scenic Tagaytay on a cold day in January but due to the super heavy traffic in Sta Rosa, we ditched the original plan and decided to check out the new restos in Vista Mall instead and ended up here. Over all the food was just okay, ambiance is good, but I honestly felt their menu is over-priced. Just not value for your hard-earned money, but it was good to try at least once. Weeks later we went back to Vista Mall and tried the bulalo in the "paluto" section of the grocery (and Cebu Lechon too!), now this was value for money! Should have gone here on that cold January day when we were craving for bulalo! Haha.

Since we wanted to celebrate as family on valentines, and the boys are craving for wings, we decided to try out this place. The buffalo wings were quite expensive but the taste was just so, so. It was not bad but I was expecting an out of this world taste considering the price. I mean I could get that same taste for a much cheaper price and with more servings. As for their sauces, the blue cheese and western ranch sauces are amazing if not the best or so I may say. I did after all got what I paid for. :) I just hope that they would have more servings of their food. Its like it's not enough, especially the onion rings. We only got a few pieces for almost PHP400 when you can get a big chunk of onion brick at _____ for almost have the price. In any case, the people are friendly and accommodating, it's a nice family and homey Sunday place and the boys... they enjoyed playing the Xbox.

Wings in parmesan sauce is highly recommended, pork belly and ribs are tasty and tender. servings are big. one order of platter matters is good for 2-3 persons but can be stretched up to 4. When you are dining but on a tight budget, try to compute for the tax and the service charge beforehand.
