Friendly bakery with many tasty. Cheese twist, goat cheese sandwiches on banquet, ice galette, earl gray shortbread and morningbunk was destroyed by me in this loading. friendly staff and our door seats make this place even better.

Stopped in the check out all the hype and man I was certainly not disappointed at all. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They offer plenty of options and handful of gluten-free options as well. Grabbed some coffee for home and tried the apple strudel and the cookies boom chakalaka!!!?? can’t wait to go back.

I really like Companion. I've been coming here since they first opened. I like their products, I like their staff, I like their vibe. There's just a couple things they need to sort out which is why I knocked off one star. #1 Their hours. What self respecting bakery opens at 8:00am? 6:00 am is proper time for a bakery to open, 7:00 am at the latest. How can you buy baked goods before work or an early morning outing if the bakery doesn't open until 8:00? #2 Certain baked goods only available on specific days. I can't keep track. Inevitably what happens is I go there and they don't have a Goat Horn, or whatever, which is what I really wanted, so I end up leaving empty handed. Sometimes I'm not sure if the Goat Horn is there, so I don't go at all. So, dear Companion management, please open at 6:00-or even 7:00- and provide Goat Horns every day for a 5 star review.

One of my favorite places to get baked goods in west Santa Cruz. Their bread is delicious. I also recommend the garlic cheese twists, they’re the perfect bread snack.
