Engfer Pizza Works - Santa Cruz

The two women who possess this place are amazingly warmhearted. they have made some of the best vegan pizza in the city with a tofu cheese spread and so many delicious vegetables. do not let me start the beer and wine selection.

Yum! Crust was crunchy, although we were too late and had to take the pizza home to eat. The staff was friendly and quirky selection of drinks. Masking while we are not sitting was still necessary while we were in mid-June 2022.

Update 7/30/22 Lives in the crew through thick and thin, remain open and produce one of the best pizzas in Santa Cruz County. I had a combo in the other night and it was absolutely delicious. I'm waiting for the pizza I had. Thanks, Liz and Crew Fantastic Pizza and Owner, Liz! Delicious pizza, we had pepperoni and mushroom big crust sauce and cheese. For me the sign of great pizza is the crust. Liz and her team knock it out of the park. Thank you.

My man and I love vegan pizza at engfer. the pesto and vegetarian toppings are really good, the wood fire thin crust overhangs. it is nice that they make their own vegan cheese sauce and do not use daiya. we are always surprised that we finish an extra big, with nothing to take, it is so delicious and they have excellent choice of beer on hahn. the owners and the staff are very attentive and friendly so that this is another plus. if they like pizza and they are vegan, this is the place!
