Bidra med feedbackHere stopped for lunch and it was amazing. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The house margarita was honestly the best I had in Santa Fe! We loved our food. I had fish tacos and a pig tamale, it was not to miss. When you visit Santa Fe, I recommend visiting here for lunch or breakfast. I'm sad today was our last day, because I wish I could do it again! The sandwiches looked so good.
Our teen daughters were in charge of restaurant selection on our trip to NM and they picked a good one here! We had salads, enchiladas and a sandwich... everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly!
We ordered the Juevos Rancheros with Christmas and the traditional breakfast burrito (chorizo) with red chili. $21.50.The burrito was one of the best we've had with lots more cheese than other places. The Juevos Rancheros with Christmas was great with the green chili side being more spicy than the red but, the red sauce packs a lot of flavor.Great food at great prices! The staff here was also super attentive and extra friendly.
Quite possibly the best mexican restaurant I 've ever been to....and I 'm from San Diego! The service, the drinks, the vibe....all ON POINT. We wandered all over downtown Santa Fe trying to find something fresh and not pretentious before stumbling across this place. The 4.6 rating says it all.First, the Mezcal margaritas were incredible; not a fish bowl of mix and liqueur, these were smoky, deep and refreshing. First sip...looked up at my partner and we both had the same reaction. One of the best...if not THE best I 've ever had. Then, I ordered a 2oz shot of tequila. Was served on a tray of slate stone, sprinkled with salt and Tajin. Never seen that before. Server made a point of appreciating my choice of tequila, said that 's what we drink when the restaurant closes! .Next.....the food. We got carne asada fajitas and a fresh pork tamale with red sauce. Both were incredible...flavorful, bright, fresh. Sauces had complex flavors, complimented the courses well. Both were extremely well balanced, with the perfect amount of heat. This place is off the beaten path, in a small hole-in-the-wall place. Don 't let that dissuade you. It 's absolutely worth the walk.
Tres Colores has the BEST food. Everything we've ordered has been outstanding. The chilaquiles are awesome and the enchilada plate didn't disappoint either. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is homey and welcoming. I highly recommend having at least one meal at Tres Colores while in Santa Fe.
