Alfalfa - Santa Monica

I was craving a breakfast burrito, and Alfalfa's chorizo breakfast burrito certainly hit the spot. It was one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had, and the portion size was impressive. The espresso and donuts were also delightful. Plus, the service was quick and friendly.

The limited indoor space and inadequate outdoor heating nearly led me to give this place a 4-star rating. However, after multiple visits, the consistent quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the delightful touch of donuts have made me lean towards a 5-star rating. Plus, if the menu doesn't quite satisfy your cravings, you have the option to create your own salad. (See the photo of my custom salad.)

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the outdoor area is charming. They have dependable WiFi and plenty of outlets, making it an ideal place to work. I really enjoy their latte, and the breakfast burrito is enormous! It's the perfect spot to settle in and work for an extended period on a warm day.

Just to preface, this review is for the iced drinks we had! We stopped in after having subpar drinks at a nearby cafe. I had an iced chai and my friend had an iced latte. In addition to the delightful drinks on this warm day, we had lovely service. Would definitely suggest if you?re walking down Main looking for a quick caffeine fix!

Healthy and satisfying, Alfalfa brings the one two punch of substantial salads with a chaser of delicious and interesting donuts. With nearly a dozen salads to choose from, you?re going to find something that sounds perfect and don?t forget to try their donuts (Lemon Thyme is a standout). Plus, after a fresh salad, you?ve basically earned your dessert.
