Bidra med feedbackDog friendly! My wife and I had some great West Coast IPA’s, which are my go too! I had the chicken skewer and fries w/ garlic as appetizers. The fries where great and so was the chicken, although I thought the price of the chicken skewer was a tad high… Would totally come back for the great beer and atmosphere, along with trying different options on their menu like a smash burg!
This craft brewery and gastropub commemorates the North coast and even names their beers after distinguished coastal redwood trees. Fogbelt Brewing takes pride in it's geographic location, as it does in the ingredients it uses to brew its beer. The hops are grown in fogbelt's own hopyard and ingredients are locally sourced. All menu items are purposely paired to accentuate the tap list. Every month a new food and beer lineup is created. They even host monthly events. Such as, trivia night on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and comedy night on the first Sunday of every month. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. This could be a good date spot if your date was interested in attending one of these events. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY
I leave no stars. I 've been coming here for years. I decided to come cause I was craving the garlic fries with their garlic aioli while visiting town with friends. Let 's start from the beginning, all our IDs were checked even though we told the bartender we werent drinking except my one friend and we were dining outside out of the bar. When we showed our IDs my boyfriend only had a temporary ID so that 's why we decided to not drink, and then the bartender decided to throw in he use to be a cop to intimate us. After that we made our order mine being the fires I was craving, my boyfriend the elote natchos and my best friend just a flight of beer, when we got our food I asked the server for a extra side of the aioli I was really looking forward to and she stated they just took it off the menu this morning , I was un happy with the fires. I didn 't want to spend 10 bucks or my bf spend that much on plain fries with some green onion. That 's ridiculous. And not what I was wanting. I asked to have it taken off returned the plate of untouched fries and got immediate attitude from this older man that was the bartender. The server also had a bit of a attitude when delivering the fries explaining the sauces. When the bartender brought out the bill he immediately started arguing with me infront of our whole table saying they never had the brown garlic aioli when the server just stated they took it off this morning, it got to the point where I needed to walk away from the restaurant to calm down and my boyfriend had to ask him to STOP. Any ways. Bad service. Bad attitudes, and HORRIBLE service. Anyways here 's a picture of the fries I would order always from two yrs ago that apparently they never had that he absolutely had to come out and argue with me about it rather then just taking it off our bill in silence : thanks sir u literally f 'in suck.
I 'm finally done with this place. I 've just had too many negative experiences. Maybe the staff lacks some basic customer service training. Went there with my GF on Sunday afternoon. Had their Del Norte west coast IPA . My expectations are usually pretty low, but this stuff was bad. They apparently brewed a bad batch of it. I mentioned it two employees. One of them sheepishly admitted that it was bad. The guy next to us at the bar commented about it too. Most breweries that care about their reputation and take pride in their product would have thrown it out, but not Fogbelt. They will gladly serve it to people with their usual no smile.
High quality west coast IPAs (Del Norte and Pipe Dreams were standouts). Paired well with the lamb burger and garlic fries. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating and helpful staff.
