Bidra med feedbackWe had a great experience in the cafe today. We ordered the Clam Chowder, Braised beef short ribs with polnta and carrots and the sweet and sour pig with jasmine rice. Plus of fresh three berries Cobbler with cream Anglaise and chantilly. The large bowl of the Chowder mussel was creamy with a sweet taste. My braided beef with Polnta was delicate and tasty. The sweet and sour pig was as great as anyone we ever had. The three Berries Cobbler was perfect. We were not rushed and overall, can't wait to go back.
I was impressed by the menu and the quality of service and food.
The program is set up to teach students how to cook/bake, as well as do customer service. They are all doing a great job in learning those skills, as well as life skills.
Food made by SRJC students! So good! I wish they'd take over the cafeteria!
Recently, my mom, brother, and I visited to try the food, and we were not disappointed. The menu features a variety of kitchens, from Mexican to Asian, and we sampled many dishes. Our server was incredibly friendly, which added to the overall positive experience. The bakery selection was outstanding, and our favorite item was the fresh cranberry-walnut bread. For those over 60, there’s a 15% discount available, but do keep in mind that reservations are required in advance since their hours and days of operation are limited. Overall, this is a fantastic place to see student chefs in action, enjoy delicious food, and support a wonderful local program.
