Barba Frutos do Mar - São Sebastião

This is a must have dining experience in Ilhabela. The seafood was was really good - very well prepared. The Brazilian cuisine was great. Other restaurant attempts at Italian, etc., are just so-so. This is a great place to enjoy the Brazilian island experience.

Nice place by the sea. With attentive staff, the service is fast, the snacks are delicious and the beer is also served very, very, very cold !!!

This place on big beach is really popular with the locals and that's because they serve great food and it's cheap, grilled fish with prawn sauce,grilled chicken and summer (seafood ) mix, Cuba libre,s caipirinha and fruit juice for four people all for under £10 each and portions more than enough for European travellers. It is not open in the evenings, as for service come on its Brazilian they are always smiling and polite working hard in this heat, no complaints from me

We had lunch at a table in a balcony facing the beach, a great view! We ordered fried shrimp, which was very tasty and light. It is a nice place for a quick bite while watching the sea.

The mandioca there is the best, but its the only thing I liked, service is terrible, everytime we wanted something we had to stand up and look for the waiters or just getting what we wanted asking directly in the kitchen, the restaurant just had two other tables and 5 waiters, all of them talking with each other and neglecting the tables
