Speaks Clam St Armands - Sarasota

My favourite place to go to Sarasota now!! I wanted to get my friend into the circle somewhere and we both agreed on Speaks, and we were awakened all the time! We have to sit outside on the second floor balcony and the view was really sweet and beautiful. We first ordered a dozen oysters and cocktails. Both were really good. I ordered a Clam Pasta that only $10!! And my friend got Penne Pasta with shrimps and scallops and they were the absolute BEST scallops I've ever had in my whole life!! Super impressed. The service was also incredible.

Hands down one of the beat restaurants for casual eating you can find in the area! The middle neck clam sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. The cocktail menu is as creative as it gets and perfect for a day of relaxing with friends. The handmade pasta was perfectly cooked and went well with both the meat and seafood dishes. The serivce was great and the ambiance was suited perfectly for the casual yet sophisticated vibe. If you are looking for a restaurant that will exceed your expectations within a reasonable budget, you should make this place part of plans. You won’t be disappointed!

Food is amazing. They have great non seafood options. If you come here, ask for Victoria. She gave us great recommendations and was very nice. I would definitely recommend going here.

We had Victoria and she was AMAZING. She was so kind and so helpful. She was the absolute sweetest and had amazing customer service. I will be coming here again just to be served by her. If you come here, I HIGHLY recommended Victoria.

Italian fare with a seafood focus. Inside, outside, open air and balcony dining. Fresh pasta and sauce made daily. Three sauce options: sweet, medium and spicy hot. The meatballs and spinach and crab appetizers were delicious. Dinner was seafood linguini and shrimp and scallop scampi. Thanks Sam for the fun dining experience and great service.
