The Blue Hen - Saratoga Springs

I made a reservation two weeks in advance and specifically looked for The Blue Hen, but when I arrived, there was no Blue Hen—it was a different restaurant. I was really upset because the menu at The Blue Hen sounded so much better than what was offered at the place I ended up in. I'm not planning to go back. I was really looking forward to it, so it's disappointing. Overall, I was very let down.

We had made a reservation at Blue Hen, as we had enjoyed dining there before. However, we were disappointed to find that it is now closed and replaced by Morrissey’s. OpenTable did not indicate this change when I made the booking, nor did it show up when I checked the app an hour earlier. Although Morrissey’s was open, it offered a more casual menu than we had expected.

On a positive note, the atmosphere was beautiful. The food was decent but overpriced. Overall, the service and management left a lot to be desired. If you're hungry, this might not be the best place for you. The menu is quite limited and no substitutions are allowed. They served a small portion of crumbled food with an omelet, and I had to pay extra for a burnt hash brown that had a fancy French name.

Everything was incredible! eating is delicious and creatiw, but not too much! attentive friendly service. beautiful atmosphere.
