A wonderful find on the street! I stopped in without a reservation and was greeted by friendly faces and delicious food.

Finally, there’s an Italian restaurant in Saratoga that caters to vegans! I absolutely love it here. The ambiance is charming, the staff is wonderful, and the food is fantastic. I come back often!

The food itself was uninspired and felt outdated. Simple dishes can be delightful when executed well, but merely frying some eggplant, adding a basic sauce and mozzarella, and serving it on raw spinach doesn't cut it. The orecchiette had potential but was far too salty, while the bucatini was overcooked, smothered in excess sauce, and the guanciale wasn't sufficiently rendered. If you're opting for simplicity, it must be done right. The atmosphere also left much to be desired. Dimmer lighting could have masked the numerous imperfections in the dining area. Unfortunately, the restaurant had a strong odor, reminiscent of a dirty mop rather than a pleasant dining environment. Overall, it felt as if there was little effort put into creating a welcoming experience. On a Saturday night when every other restaurant in town was fully booked, it was surprising to see this place nearly empty.
